Corporate social responsibility development in the banking sector of Ukraine.

Abstract

The peculiarities of corporate social responsibility development in the banking sector of Ukraine is considered in the article. Corporate social responsibility areas of the leading Ukrainian banks are analyzed. It is established that a significant part of banking institutions selects several areas of social activity and attracts as many resources as possible for the implementation of selected social programs. Limited corporate social responsibility has a negative impact on goodwill. JSC CB PrivatBank is the first in the variety of selected areas of social policy. The analysis of internal and external components of corporate social responsibility of JSC CB PrivatBank is carried out. On the basis of benchmarking of foreign leading organizations, the directions of development of corporate social responsibility of JSC CB PrivatBank are revealed. They include expanding the boundaries of corporate social responsibility, introducing inclusive innovations, implementing long-term projects instead of short-term programs, financing cleaner industries, publishing social reports, and more.
