In the article the problem of measuring dynamics is considered for dynamic rows, the levels of which possess different signs. It is established that conventional approach in calculation and interpretation of growth and increment rates of economic indicators with different signs does not allow to give correct description of such indicators. Graphic illustration enables to visualize the idea of economic interpretation of growth rates indicators got with a negative sign. The non-conventional methods of growth and increment rates calculation of economic indicators with different signs are offered. It is well-proven that offered approach is acceptable in the analysis of dynamics for both absolute indicators (on the example of profit and loss) and relative frequencies, presented by their share and percentage. The developed method of calculation of growth and increment rates for economic indicators with different signs is applied not only for simulated cases but also for cases being based on real macroeconomic statistical information related to the area of national accounting.References
